NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream pam-pgsql package and not the pam-pgsql package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:9 relevant fixed versions and status.

libpam-pgsql (aka pam_pgsql) 0.7 does not properly handle a NULL value returned by the password search query, which allows remote attackers to bypass authentication via a crafted password.
