CVE-2010-5293  (opens in a new tab)
CWE-264  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade Debian:9 wordpress to version 3.0.2-1 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream wordpress package and not the wordpress package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:9 relevant fixed versions and status.

wp-includes/comment.php in WordPress before 3.0.2 does not properly whitelist trackbacks and pingbacks in the blogroll, which allows remote attackers to bypass intended spam restrictions via a crafted URL, as demonstrated by a URL that triggers a substring match.
