How to fix?

Upgrade Debian:unstable cups to version 1.1.23-1 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream cups package and not the cups package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:unstable relevant fixed versions and status.

The is_path_absolute function in scheduler/client.c for the daemon in CUPS before 1.1.23 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (CPU consumption by tight loop) via a "...." URL in an HTTP request.
