CVE-2019-14379  (opens in a new tab)
CWE-915  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade Debian:unstable jackson-databind to version 2.9.9.3-1 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream jackson-databind package and not the jackson-databind package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:unstable relevant fixed versions and status.

SubTypeValidator.java in FasterXML jackson-databind before 2.9.9.2 mishandles default typing when ehcache is used (because of net.sf.ehcache.transaction.manager.DefaultTransactionManagerLookup), leading to remote code execution.
