How to fix?

Upgrade Debian:unstable jruby to version 1.5.0~rc1-1 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream jruby package and not the jruby package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:unstable relevant fixed versions and status.

The regular expression engine in JRuby before 1.4.1, when $KCODE is set to 'u', does not properly handle characters immediately after a UTF-8 character, which allows remote attackers to conduct cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks via a crafted string.
