CVE-2014-2528  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade Debian:unstable k4dirstat to version 2.7.5-1 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream k4dirstat package and not the k4dirstat package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:unstable relevant fixed versions and status.

kcleanup.cpp in KDirStat 2.7.3 does not properly quote strings when deleting a directory, which allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via a ' (single quote) character in the directory name, a different vulnerability than CVE-2014-2527.
