NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream libyang package and not the libyang package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:unstable relevant fixed versions and status.

A stack consumption issue is present in libyang before v1.0-r1 due to the self-referential union type containing leafrefs. Applications that use libyang to parse untrusted input yang files may crash.
