CWE-264  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade Debian:unstable mod-wsgi to version 3.5-1 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream mod-wsgi package and not the mod-wsgi package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:unstable relevant fixed versions and status.

The mod_wsgi module before 3.5 for Apache, when daemon mode is enabled, does not properly handle error codes returned by setuid when run on certain Linux kernels, which allows local users to gain privileges via vectors related to the number of running processes.
