CWE-476  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade Debian:unstable strongswan to version 5.6.0-1 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream strongswan package and not the strongswan package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:unstable relevant fixed versions and status.

The gmp plugin in strongSwan before 5.6.0 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (NULL pointer dereference and daemon crash) via a crafted RSA signature.
