How to fix?

Upgrade Debian:unstable yard to version 0.9.12-1 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream yard package and not the yard package as distributed by Debian. See How to fix? for Debian:unstable relevant fixed versions and status.

lib/yard/core_ext/file.rb in the server in YARD before 0.9.11 does not block relative paths with an initial ../ sequence, which allows attackers to conduct directory traversal attacks and read arbitrary files.
