Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Buffer Access with Incorrect Length Value in the processing of YUV 4:2:2 images. An attacker can cause a crash by supplying a malicious image file to an application utilizing the affected process.
This vulnerability can be mitigated by avoiding the processing of untrusted YUV 4:2:2 image files and implementing sandboxing mechanisms or input validation to restrict the impact of malicious input.
