Overview

Microsoft.ChakraCore is the core part of the Chakra Javascript engine that powers Microsoft Edge.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Remote Code Execution (RCE). An attacker may be able to execute arbitrary code in the context of an authenticated current user due to a buffer overflow in the JIT scripting engine.

Note: This CVE ID is different from CVE-2018-8583, CVE-2018-8617, CVE-2018-8618, CVE-2018-8629.
