How to fix?

Upgrade Microsoft.IdentityModel.JsonWebTokens to version 5.7.0, 6.34.0, 7.1.2 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Resource Exhaustion by processing JSON Web Encryption (JWE) tokens with a high compression ratio. An attacker can cause excessive memory allocation and processing time during decompression, leading to a denial-of-service condition. This is only exploitable if the attacker has access to the public encrypt key registered with the IDP (Entra ID).
