CWE-770  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade Echo:latest apache2 to version 2.2.9-1 or higher.

NVD Description

Note: Versions mentioned in the description apply only to the upstream apache2 package and not the apache2 package as distributed by Echo. See How to fix? for Echo:latest relevant fixed versions and status.

The ap_proxy_http_process_response function in mod_proxy_http.c in the mod_proxy module in the Apache HTTP Server 2.0.63 and 2.2.8 does not limit the number of forwarded interim responses, which allows remote HTTP servers to cause a denial of service (memory consumption) via a large number of interim responses.
