Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Server-side Request Forgery (SSRF) via http_requester.go and http_downloader.go. An attacker can access internal network resources and exfiltrate sensitive data by crafting malicious promotion templates or Promotion resources that trigger outbound HTTP requests to link-local addresses, such as cloud instance metadata endpoints. This is only exploitable if the attacker has permissions to create or update a Stage or to craft a Promotion resource directly.
