The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Check out the EPSS documentation for more details.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Missing Authorization via the REST API, Kargo’s authorization model fails to enforce the non-standard promote "dolphin verb" across three specific endpoints. While this sensitive operation is correctly gated in the legacy gRPC API, the newer REST endpoints rely solely on standard Kubernetes RBAC (such as patch on freights/status or create on promotions). This allows an attacker who holds these basic resource permissions, but who was deliberately not granted the promote verb, to bypass the intended security boundary and advance Freight through a promotion pipeline using crafted API requests.
