How to fix?

Upgrade github.com/anchore/syft/internal/config to version 0.70.0 or higher.

Overview

github.com/anchore/syft/internal/config is a library for generating a Software Bill of Materials from container images and filesystems

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Credential Exposure by exposing the contents of the SYFT_ATTEST_PASSWORD, whether or not the attest command is in use. An attacker can view this stored password using the syft command with the -vv or -vvv option, or in an SBOM attestation using the syft-json format.
