CVE-2026-80352  (opens in a new tab)
CWE-94  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade github.com/apache/camel-k/v2/pkg/trait to version 2.9.3, 2.10.2 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Arbitrary Code Injection via the prepareRBAC function in the master trait. An authorized custom resource author can supply a service account name containing a newline, which is inserted into RBAC YAML templates and lets them inject arbitrary Kubernetes objects. The operator then processes those objects with its privileges, allowing unauthorized resource creation.
