Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Information Exposure via the introspection server. An attacker can obtain sensitive information by accessing the server from another instance within the same security group or from instances whose security groups permit incoming connections to the relevant port.
Note: This is exploitable if off-host access to the introspection server is enabled.
This vulnerability can be mitigated by restricting incoming access to the introspection server port (51678) through Amazon EC2 security group configuration.
