Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Authorization Bypass Through User-Controlled Key via the devLXDInstancePatchHandler component. An attacker can mount, read, and overwrite another guest's custom storage volume by sending a crafted device PATCH request over /dev/lxd when security.devlxd.management.volumes is enabled. This is only exploitable if the security.devlxd.management.volumes setting is enabled.
