Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Incorrect Default Permissions due to having list secrets permission on the ClusterRole for both cert-manager-cainjector and cert-manager pods. An attacker in possession of the ServiceAccount token can read cluster-level secrets, which could be used to compromise the cluster.
