The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Check out the EPSS documentation for more details.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Privilege Dropping / Lowering Errors in the metrics exporter. An attacker can gain PostgreSQL superuser privileges and execute arbitrary OS commands as the postgres user inside the primary pod by exploiting the ability to plant shadow objects or manipulate custom metric queries evaluated in the scrape session. This can be achieved via custom metric queries with unqualified identifiers or by shadowing catalog functions in user databases, allowing privilege escalation and remote code execution within one scrape interval. This is only exploitable if the attacker can influence metric queries or owns a database in the cluster.
This vulnerability can be mitigated by schema-qualifying all identifiers in custom metric queries, restricting database ownership to trusted roles, limiting the scope of target_databases: '*' queries, and preventing untrusted users from supplying or influencing metric query bodies.
