CWE-74  (opens in a new tab)
CWE-78  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

There is no fixed version for github.com/coder/coder/cli.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Command Injection via the coder config-ssh process. An attacker can execute arbitrary commands on the local system by injecting malicious SSH configuration directives through unsanitized server-supplied values. This is only exploitable if an attacker has control over the server-supplied HostnameSuffix or SSHConfigOptions, such as through a compromised or malicious server, man-in-the-middle position, or administrative access to these settings.

Workaround

This vulnerability can be mitigated by inspecting the output of coder config-ssh --dry-run before applying changes.
