Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Check or Handling of Exceptional Conditions through the blocksync protocol, an attacker can disrupt the synchronization process by sending inconsistent base and latest height values. This causes the node to continuously attempt syncing to a non-existent block height, leading to an indefinite synchronization loop.
