Overview

github.com/cri-o/cri-o/server is an OCI-based implementation of Kubernetes Container Runtime Interface

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Authorization via the handling of checkpoint files. An attacker can gain arbitrary node access by submitting a maliciously structured checkpoint file.

Workaround

This vulnerability can be mitigated by setting enable_criu_support = false.
