How to fix?

Upgrade github.com/dadrus/heimdall/internal/x to version 0.17.17 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Neutralization of Special Elements in Output Used by a Downstream Component ('Injection') via the Host header when operating in proxy mode, due to unsanitized input being directly inserted into the Forwarded header. An attacker can bypass access controls or spoof IP addresses by injecting specially crafted values into the Host header, which are then propagated to upstream services that parse the Forwarded header.
