Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Missing Authentication for Critical Function via the POST /api/v2/dag-runs endpoint, which accepts and executes inline YAML specifications without authentication in the default configuration. An attacker can execute arbitrary commands on the host system by submitting crafted requests containing malicious shell commands. This is only exploitable if authentication is disabled or if an operator-level account is used with the ability to submit inline specifications.
