Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Brute Force via nonce collisions in retrieving audit logs. Audit logs are AES encrypted but the nonce in use is determined by log size and is therefore predictable.
The effects of this vulnerability can be avoided by storing existing audit logs in a secure location or by applying a more secure method of encryption to the logs.
