CVE-2026-55887  (opens in a new tab)
CWE-88  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade github.com/docker/mcp-gateway/pkg/oci to version 0.42.2 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Arbitrary Argument Injection via the YAML unmarshalling process of the io.docker.server.metadata OCI image label into the catalog.Server struct. An attacker can execute arbitrary code as root on the host system by crafting a malicious OCI image label that injects arguments into the docker run command line, enabling actions such as mounting the host filesystem or accessing the Docker socket.
