CWE-77  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

There is no fixed version for github.com/filebrowser/filebrowser/runner.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Arbitrary Command Injection via the Execute commands feature, which allows shell commands to be executed without restriction to the assigned scope. An attacker can gain unauthorized read and write access to all files managed by the server by executing arbitrary commands.

Workaround

This vulnerability can be mitigated by disabling the Execute commands feature for all accounts and, as an additional defense-in-depth measure, operating the application from a distroless container image if command execution is not required.
