CVE-2026-23517  (opens in a new tab)
CWE-863  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade github.com/fleetdm/fleet/server/service to version 4.75.2, 4.76.2, 4.77.1, 4.78.3 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Incorrect Authorization via the debug/pprof endpoints. An attacker can access sensitive server internals, including runtime profiling data and in-memory application state, and trigger CPU-intensive profiling operations that could impact system availability by sending requests as a low-privilege authenticated user.

Workaround

This vulnerability can be mitigated by placing the debug/pprof endpoints behind an IP allowlist.
