The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Check out the EPSS documentation for more details.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Command Injection via the rotateFileVaultKey function in orbit/pkg/useraction/useraction_darwin.go. An attacker can execute arbitrary commands on macOS by supplying a crafted FileVault username or password that is interpolated into the expect script used to run fdesetup changerecovery -personal. This can let a local user or managed action that reaches the escrow flow run attacker-controlled shell input with the privileges of the Fleet Desktop process, exposing the host to unauthorized command execution and loss of control over FileVault recovery key rotation.
