CVE-2026-58314  (opens in a new tab)
CWE-918  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade github.com/go-gitea/gitea/modules/hostmatcher to version 1.27.0 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Server-side Request Forgery (SSRF) in the handling of outbound HTTP requests for webhooks, repository migration, and OpenID sign-in due to insufficient filtering of non-routable and internal IP address ranges. An attacker can access internal network resources and potentially exfiltrate sensitive information by crafting requests that target internal or otherwise restricted hosts.

Note: This is only exploitable if OpenID sign-in is enabled or if a logged-in user can configure webhooks or initiate repository migrations.
