Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling in the processing of Arch package uploads, specifically when handling package file metadata. An attacker can cause excessive resource consumption by uploading a highly-compressed archive containing a large number of empty regular file entries, leading to amplified server-side metadata parsing, serialization, storage, and repository index generation.
