Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Uncontrolled Search Path Element due to the improper handling of symbolic links during archive extraction. An attacker can write arbitrary files by crafting an archive that includes malicious symbolic links.

Note: This is only exploitable on platforms with case-insensitive filesystems, such as NTFS.
