Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to External Control of File Name or Path via the stampExpression and watermarkExpression parameters in the merge, split, and convert routes. An attacker can access the contents of arbitrary PDF files on the server by supplying a path to a PDF file that the process can read, causing the file's contents to be included in the output PDF returned to the attacker. This is only exploitable if the service is exposed to unauthenticated users and the attacker can control the relevant parameters.
