CVE-2026-35601  (opens in a new tab)
CWE-93  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade github.com/go-vikunja/vikunja/pkg/caldav to version 2.3.0 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to CRLF Injection via improper handling of user-supplied input in the ParseTodos function. An attacker can inject arbitrary iCalendar properties by including CRLF characters in task titles or other fields, which are then concatenated into the iCalendar output without proper escaping. This can result in malicious attachments, fake notifications, or spoofed organizer identities being processed by calendar clients when syncing via CalDAV.
