CWE-200  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Upgrade github.com/hashicorp/nomad/nomad to version 1.4.2 or higher.

Overview

github.com/hashicorp/nomad/nomad is an easy-to-use, flexible, and performant workload orchestrator that can deploy a mix of microservice, batch, containerized, and non-containerized applications. Nomad is easy to operate and scale and has native Consul and Vault integrations.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Information Exposure such that a workload identity token can list non-sensitive metadata for paths under nomad/ that belong to other jobs in the same namespace. This behavior may be used by a malicious operator or third party with authenticated access to access non-sensitive information which may provide context they otherwise might not have.
