How to fix?

Upgrade github.com/kubernetes/kubernetes/pkg/volume/portworx to version 1.32.10, 1.33.6, 1.34.2 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Server-side Request Forgery (SSRF) via the kube-controller-manager when using the in-tree Portworx StorageClass. An attacker can access sensitive information from unprotected endpoints within the control plane's host network, including link-local or loopback services, by sending crafted requests through authorized access.

Workaround

This vulnerability can be mitigated by enabling the CSIMigrationPortworx feature gate.
