Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Access Control when shared channels are enabled, fail to redact remote users' original email addresses stored in user props when email addresses are otherwise configured not to be visible in the local server. An attacker can exploit this to gain unauthorized access to sensitive information by leveraging the visibility of email addresses.
