Overview
github.com/mattermost/mattermost-server/v6 is an open source, private cloud, Slack-alternative.
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Access Control due to the improper authorization in the /plugins/focalboard/api/v2/users endpoint. An attacker, who is a guest user and knows the ID of another user, can retrieve their information (e.g. name, surname, nickname) by exploiting this vulnerability. This is only exploitable if the attacker is a guest user and knows the ID of another user.
