Overview

github.com/minio/minio/cmd is an open source object storage server compatible with Amazon S3 APIs.

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Access Control. It has an authentication bypass issue in the MinIO admin API.

Given an admin access key, it is possible to perform admin API operations i.e. creating new service accounts for existing access keys - without knowing the admin secret key.

Note: This vulnerability was resolved in version RELEASE.2020-04-23T00-58-49Z, any newer version than this one is not vulnerable.
