Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Neutralization of Special Elements in Output Used by a Downstream Component ('Injection') via the NGINX configuration generator component. An attacker can inject arbitrary NGINX configuration directives by supplying crafted string values in the NginxProxy Custom Resource Definition (CRD) access log format setting, which are rendered into configuration templates without sanitization or escaping. This is only exploitable if the attacker is authenticated and has permission to create or modify these CRDs.
