Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Download of Code Without Integrity Check via the verifyDownload() function that does not perform integrity or authenticity verification of downloaded update. An attacker can execute arbitrary code by supplying a malicious executable that is accepted and run during the automatic update procedure without integrity or authenticity checks. This is only exploitable if the application is running on Windows and automatic updates are enabled.
