Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Validation of Array Index in the validation process for BGP UPDATE messages containing an empty AS_PATH attribute. An attacker can cause a panic and terminate the peer session by sending a malformed UPDATE with a zero-length AS_PATH to a configured confederation eBGP neighbor. This is only exploitable if the peer is configured as a confederation eBGP neighbor.
