Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling due to missing length validation in the WT_CLOSE_SESSION capsule parser. An attacker can exhaust system memory by sending a capsule with an excessively large Application Error Message payload, which is fully read and stored in memory without restriction.
