github.com/rancher/norman/api is an API framework for Building Rancher Style APIs backed by K8s CustomResources and their controllers.
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') in the public API endpoint. An attacker can trigger JavaScript code and execute commands remotely by injecting malicious payloads into user input that is then rendered in the UI. This includes crafting a malicious URL that gets rendered into a script executed on a page.
