Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Authentication due to improper validation of SAML assertion requests. An attacker can impersonate any user by manipulating cookie values during their initial login.
Note:
This is only exploitable if a SAML authentication provider is configured and the user is logging in for the first time or if a user has been removed from the authentication provider.
This vulnerability can be mitigated by temporarily disabling the SAML-based AP.
