Malicious CVE NOT AVAILABLE CWE-506  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

Avoid using all malicious instances of the github.com/shopsprint/decimal package.

Overview

github.com/shopsprint/decimal is a malicious package. This package contains malicious code, and its content was removed from the official package manager. While this package might be attempting to impersonate a valid organization, there is no connection between that organization and this package authorship. Specifically, it is a single-letter typosquat designed to impersonate the popular github.com/shopspring/decimal library. It utilized a "trust-then-poison" attack pattern, remaining benign for six years across multiple versions to establish trust.
