How to fix?

Upgrade github.com/stacklok/minder/internal/verifier/sigstore/container to version 0.0.51 or higher.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling through the getAttestationReply process. An attacker can cause the server to crash and deny service to other users by sending a crafted response with a large body size from an attacker-controlled endpoint. This is only exploitable if the attacker has added a package to ghcr.io with attestations configured to return a large response when fetched, and the attacker has registered on Minder to make the server fetch these attestations.
